Finance
The Finance Department supports leadership, management, administration, committees, and businesses by providing financial reporting, accounting services, and strategic advice. The Finance Department establishes internal controls to protect the assets of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation (CRFN) and our businesses, to ensure the integrity of all the financial systems. The Finance Department also provides direct support to community members in programs designed to provide advice, education and financial assistance. The role of the Community Financial Planner was established to assist community members, of all ages, in developing a financial plan which enables them to meet their goals and objectives.
Accountability and transparency are facilitated to members via regular financial reporting
at community meetings, with the unaudited and audited financial reports being presented annually.
