Programs and services include:

  • Loans of books, magazines and dvd’s,
  • Family kits and DAISY CD’s from CNIB
  • Related library services including reader’s advisory
  • Resume and cover letter assistance
  • Internet job searching
  • Electronic forms acquisition and application i.e., Employment Benefits
  • Printing, scanning, copying and faxing services
  • Electronic email
  • Public Wifi access
  • An inventory of educational software for use on the computers
  • Assistance with a variety of computer related tasks
  • Educational support
  

You could work in this Department through Rama First Nation employment opportunities, secondary school co-operative placements, student summer employment, or volunteerism

  

September through to June include regular MKES school programming JK to Grade 8 as well as visits from the Rama ECE Department and School-age programming with the Recreation Department. 

First Nation's Public Library Week is held in the fall.

There are guest speakers, special presentations and visiting authors throughout the year.
